Light-aware brightness
Auto brightness or a level from 1 to 100%. The Auto profile moves between Day and Night ink at about 2,500 and 1,500 lux, once the light holds for 10 seconds, so it does not flicker.
The built-in GlintOS system app for Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses: display, sound, input, firmware, apps and privacy, all with swipes and taps.
Settings is where you control how your glasses look, sound and respond. Nine categories show their current value at a glance, from Display and Audio to Privacy and About. It is always on and starts with GlintOS, so it can announce new firmware and re-apply your choices each time the glasses reconnect, even ones you changed offline.
Changes are live: the glasses show a new brightness, volume or position while you swipe, a tap keeps it and Back restores the starting value. Readings show -- until the glasses report them, and offline values are marked as last known. Settings also decides what each mini-app may use, with one switch per kind of access.

The display can turn off after 1 minute to 1 hour, or never, the default. Apps keep running, navigation and visible video keep it awake, and the first touch only wakes it.
Install the firmware bundled with GlintOS. An update needs the glasses connected and 50% battery, or 30% on the charger; otherwise a sheet explains why.
Switch off camera, microphone, eye tracking, location, network or calendar access app by app. An app using it right now closes at once.
Turn apps on or off, reorder the Home dock, close an app or clear its data.
Long tap as Back or the assistant, two keyboard modes, head gestures and an optional ring, plus Larger text, Reduce motion, Stronger outlines and Do not disturb.
Nine categories with their values in capitals, such as AUTO, MUTED or ALL ON. Four rows per page, three with Larger text.
Brightness, volume, auto gain or position full screen, in large digits with a Done button. The glasses change as you swipe.
Installed and available versions, Update firmware, Update on phone and Check again. During an update, a full sheet shows progress and DO NOT POWER OFF.
Everysight’s pattern fills the display, and swipes move smaller screens 4 px at a time. A Tap keeps the position, a Long tap restores the old one.
| Swipe forward | Next row or button, turning the page after the last row. In an editor, changes the value; on the fit pattern, moves right. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Previous row or button. In an editor, changes the value the other way; on the fit pattern, moves left. |
| Tap | Opens a page, flips a switch, steps a choice or opens an editor, where Done keeps the value. Turning something off asks first. |
| Long tap | Back by default; in an editor it restores the starting value. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant instead. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
Under Apps > Settings in the phone companion app: sliders for brightness, auto gain, volume and position, a display-off timer and the Day/Night profile.
Run in background keeps the glasses connection going and shows whether Android’s battery settings limit it.
Each bundled firmware version with its notes and an Install button that starts at once, without asking, plus glasses details with Connect, Disconnect and Pair.
Readings, firmware and the fit pattern need the glasses connected; preferences apply on reconnect.
Settings runs in GlintOS on the phone, where pairing and Everysight’s own screens open.
Settings has no sign-in.
Nothing asks for a key; the one the glasses link needs comes with GlintOS.
Settings contacts no web service. Everysight’s SDK checks a certificate online on first connection and about every 30 days.
Bluetooth (Nearby devices, or Location on Android 11) connects the glasses; both are asked for when the phone companion app first opens. Long tap as Assistant also needs the microphone.
Notification access for Phone notices; the GlintOS ring control accessibility service for a ring.
A ring in touch mode can stand in for the temple touchpad. Gaze focus is experimental and needs an Eye Lab calibration.
No paid service.
These rows are about Settings. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
Open Settings > Device > Firmware and choose Update firmware. Charge to at least 50%, or 30% on the charger, and do not power off. New firmware arrives with GlintOS updates.
