One list for everything
Phone, mini-app and system notices, newest first. Unread rows are bright and read ones dim.
Notifications brings your Android phone’s notifications to your Maverick AI or AI Pro glasses: a banner when one arrives, and one list you read and clear from the temple touchpad.
Notifications is the GlintOS inbox for Everysight Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. Your phone’s notifications, notices from GlintOS mini-apps and GlintOS’s own system notices, such as connection or battery, share one list, newest first. New ones drop in as a banner. You read the full text, open the source app on your phone, mark items read, dismiss them or clear the list.
While the glasses are connected, the list follows your phone: a notification removed there leaves the glasses, and an updated one, such as a new message in the same chat, refreshes in place. There is no account, API key or internet use. You grant only Android’s Notification access, and the text stays between your phone and your glasses.

The sender, the title and a preview for about 6 seconds, one at a time. Tap to open; by default, a Long tap dismisses it.
Non-urgent banners wait quietly in the list. Alarms and other high-priority notices still break through.
Source app, a category such as MESSAGE or EMAIL, the time, the title, then the text in pages.
Launches the source app on your phone. Mini-app notices get Open, for the app that posted them.
Clear always asks first, with Keep as the safe choice. Your phone keeps its notifications.
Look up for Quick Settings: its Notifications tile shows the entry count and latest sender, and opens the latest one.
Rows with the sender, a time such as NOW or 5 MIN, and a one-line summary, then Read all and Clear. Chips such as NO ACCESS say what is missing.
Source app, category and time, the title, then the text in pages. Open on phone or Open, Dismiss and Back.
CHECKING PHONE, All caught up, Allow notification access, Phone notifications are off with Turn on, and a note while the glasses are disconnected.
| Swipe forward | Moves to the next row or button, wrapping around. In a detail, pages through long text. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Moves the other way. |
| Tap | Opens the focused notification and marks it read, or presses the focused button. On a banner, opens that notification. |
| Long tap | By default, goes back, or dismisses a banner. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant instead; use the Back button. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
A Recent notifications widget in three widths shows the unread count, such as 2 NEW, and the latest sender and message; full width lists up to three rows. Previews never mark anything read.
The app’s page in the GlintOS phone companion app shows whether phone notifications are live, with Allow notification access and the Show phone notifications on glasses switch.
Re-read phone, Read all, Clear all, and every entry with Open, Dismiss and Card, which shows it once with its app icon on the glasses.
Settings > Notifications holds the banner and Do not disturb choices.
Phone notifications reach GlintOS only while the glasses are connected, an Everysight SDK limit.
GlintOS includes the phone companion app, so there is nothing else to install. Android only for now.
There is no sign-in.
The app talks to no online service.
Bluetooth (Nearby devices, or Location on Android 11) connects the glasses. GlintOS’s own notifications let Open on phone and Allow on phone finish on the phone.
Turned on in Android’s Notification access settings. On Android 13 and later, if the switch for GlintOS is greyed out, first choose Allow restricted settings in GlintOS’s App info menu.
Everything runs on your phone and glasses.
Paired with the phone in touch mode, with Ring control and the GlintOS ring control accessibility service on, it sends the same gestures as the temple touchpad.
No paid service or subscription.
These rows are about Notifications. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
Yes, with GlintOS on an Android phone. New ones appear as a banner and collect in one list you read with the temple touchpad, while the glasses are connected.
No. You grant only Android’s Notification access for GlintOS. Everything runs offline on your phone and glasses.
Not from Notifications. Open on phone launches the source app to reply there. The Everysight SDK usually filters out incoming-call notifications.
