Terms of Use.

The terms for this independent project website, with your mandatory legal rights preserved.

Effective and last updated: October 17, 2026

GlintOS is a community-built third-party project using Everysight’s SDK. It is not the manufacturer’s official companion app. The website shows development work; a free Android release is planned for December 2026.

1. Scope and project contact

These terms describe use of the public website at glintos.app. “GlintOS,” “we,” and “us” refer to the independent project and the maintainers responsible for this website. Legal questions can be sent to [email protected].

The site provides project information, an app collection, an illustrative interface preview, and a roadmap. It does not currently provide the public Android APK, a paid subscription, a hardware purchase service, or an account service. Accessing information on this site does not create a promise of a future product, support arrangement, partnership, or manufacturer approval. If separate app-license or service terms are introduced at release, they will apply to the relevant software or service as stated then.

Please use the site lawfully and read these terms alongside the Privacy Policy and independence disclaimer. Nothing here makes optional analytics consent a condition of access.

2. Independent third-party project

GlintOS is developed independently using Everysight’s software development kit. It is not developed, owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed, certified, or supported by Everysight or the original developers or manufacturers of Maverick AI or Maverick AI Pro glasses.

GlintOS is not Everysight’s official or proprietary companion app, firmware, or operating system. SDK use is a technical integration and does not itself establish a commercial partnership, license to the manufacturer’s branding, certification, or endorsement. Questions about GlintOS belong with its independent maintainers.

3. Development status and release plans

GlintOS is experimental software under active development. The planned public release is a free Android APK targeted for December 2026. Dates, integrations, features, compatibility, and availability may change as development and testing continue. Spotify, Gemini, and other roadmap items are plans, not statements that those integrations are currently released or approved by those companies.

The app directory describes the current development build. It does not guarantee that every feature will work on every phone, glasses model, region, account, network, or future SDK version. Some functions require permissions, connected accounts, specific hardware, or third-party services. Real-glasses validation remains pending.

Website HUD and phone previews contain illustrative interfaces and sample information. They are not live device output, proof of optical performance, medical results, or a fully functional online version of the app. Hardware specifications come from linked manufacturer materials and may differ by model or change over time.

4. Acceptable website use

You may browse the public site, share links, and use its information for lawful personal, evaluation, or developer purposes, subject to applicable intellectual-property rights. Search-engine indexing of public pages is permitted in accordance with the site’s crawl instructions.

Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, interfere with site security or availability, collect private information through the site, or impersonate GlintOS or Everysight. Do not present the project as manufacturer-approved or redistribute third-party artwork or materials without the rights needed to do so. Restrictions apply only to the extent lawful and do not remove statutory rights, permitted quotations, or other exceptions.

5. Intellectual property and trademarks

Website content and original GlintOS materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Browsing this site does not transfer ownership of software, artwork, marks, SDK materials, or hardware. Any separately published open-source license or other express permission governs the materials to which it applies; these terms do not override that license.

Everysight, Maverick AI, Maverick AI Pro, BEAM, GazeIntent, and related names, images, and marks belong to their respective owners. Other third-party names and mini-app artwork also remain the property of their owners. References identify compatibility, technology, or planned integrations and do not imply ownership or endorsement. Contact [email protected] about a rights concern, identifying the material and the basis of your request.

6. Hardware and third-party services

Compatible glasses are obtained separately. External websites, hardware, SDKs, APIs, accounts, and services have their own availability, fees, terms, licenses, and privacy notices. A free GlintOS app does not make third-party subscriptions, API usage, connectivity, or hardware free.

We do not control external services or make promises on their providers’ behalf. Following an external link is your choice. Website analytics is described separately in our Privacy Policy and remains optional.

7. Safe and appropriate reliance

Do not rely on an experimental preview or future app as an emergency, safety-critical, medical, or sole navigation system. If you later use glasses or app functions, follow manufacturer safety instructions, use them only where lawful and safe, and respect other people’s privacy and consent when using camera, microphone, translation, or recording features. This website does not grant permission to record others or bypass platform or service restrictions.

8. Availability, warranties, and liability

We aim to keep project information useful and accurate, but the site may contain mistakes or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website, previews, and development information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or future feature delivery.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the project and its maintainers are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on incomplete development plans, third-party services, or events beyond reasonable control. Responsibility for any particular loss remains subject to the applicable law and facts; this provision does not create an unlimited exclusion of liability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer or privacy rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. This includes applicable rules concerning fraud, intentional misconduct, and death or personal injury. If a disclaimer or restriction is not enforceable, it applies only to the extent allowed, and the remaining terms continue where lawful.

9. Changes and legal rights

We may revise the website and these terms as the project develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes do not retrospectively remove accrued or mandatory rights. No choice of law, exclusive court, compulsory arbitration, or waiver of statutory rights is imposed by this website notice. Any dispute remains subject to the law and jurisdiction that properly apply.

If a concern arises, contact us so we can try to address it. Doing so does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, seeking independent advice, or using an available legal remedy.
