Your eye, drawn live
Pupil, iris, eyelids, eye corners and the glint, beside a table of eye found, pupil visibility, frame rate and data source.
Eye Lab shows your eye as the Maverick AI Pro eye tracker sees it, and runs the gaze calibration every GlintOS app shares. No account, API key or internet.
Eye Lab is the eye-tracking workbench of GlintOS for Everysight Maverick AI Pro, the model with an eye tracker. It draws your eye as the tracker reports it and shows the signals GlintOS reacts to: blinks, double blinks, looking left or right, fixation, and whether your eyes are visible and open.
It also runs the one gaze calibration the whole OS uses, 18 dots in about 25 seconds, plus an accuracy test in display pixels. The calibration powers the experimental Gaze focus setting, off by default: look at something to focus it, then tap to select it. Gaze is experimental because the current Everysight SDK does not yet turn gaze into a point on the display.
Pupil, iris, eyelids, eye corners and the glint, beside a table of eye found, pupil visibility, frame rate and data source.
Blinks, blinks per minute and double blinks, LEFT, CENTER or RIGHT, fixation time, and whether your eyes are visible and open.
Two rounds over nine targets, saved on your phone and used by Gaze focus everywhere in GlintOS.
During a run the display shows only a dot and a ring closing on it, with no text, counter or button.
The expected error in pixels, a straight or curved fit, and how many points were used. GlintOS drops outliers itself.
Six random dots report the mean and worst error. A stopped or failed run keeps your previous calibration.
Live eye, Signals, Calibrate gaze, Accuracy test, Auto calibrate (simulator only) and Forget calibration, each with its status. Restart tracker appears when the tracker fails.
The eye drawing beside its status table, or No eye in view when the tracker finds no eye.
The direction row, BLINKS, PER MIN and DOUBLE, and fixation, eyes visible and OPEN or CLOSED. Reset zeroes the counters.
Start clears the display to one dot at a time. The result, marked SAVED ON THE PHONE, offers Test and Done, or Retry if the run failed.
Six dots, then the error in pixels and a table of mean, worst, expected and dots measured. It needs a calibration first.
| Swipe forward | Next row or button. Ignored during a run, so a stray touch cannot spoil it. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Previous row or button. During a run, stops it and keeps your previous calibration. |
| Tap | Opens the focused row or presses the focused button, such as Start, Test, Reset or Restart. |
| Long tap | Back by default. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant on normal screens. During a run it always stops the run. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
No widget of its own. While Eye Lab runs, the Home Summary widget can show its status: the gaze error, Calibrating or Gaze not calibrated.
Eye Lab’s page in the phone companion app shows the tracker’s state, frame rate and last error, the blink and gaze readings, and the calibration status.
Restart tracker and Forget calibration buttons. Forget on the phone clears at once, without asking.
Calibration starts only on the glasses, and the values update only while Eye Lab is open there.
Eye Lab needs the AI Pro’s eye tracker. On glasses without one it may open but show no eye data or an error.
GlintOS runs on the phone and draws on the glasses.
There is nothing to sign in to.
Eye Lab uses no third-party service.
Eye data is processed on the glasses and the phone.
GlintOS switches, on by default, under Apps > Eye Lab > Access on the phone or Settings > Privacy on the glasses. Without Gaze point, calibration is unavailable.
Paired with the phone in touch mode, with Ring control and the GlintOS ring control accessibility service on, it sends the same gestures as the temple touchpad.
No paid service or subscription.
These rows are about Eye Lab. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
It is made for Maverick AI Pro, the model with an eye tracker. GlintOS cannot detect a missing tracker, so on other glasses it may open but show no eye data or an error. This is not verified.
No. Eye Lab contacts no service and needs no sign-in or key. Eye data is processed on the glasses and your phone.
Run Accuracy test to see the mean and worst error for your own eyes. The only documented figure, about 1 to 2 px, comes from the PC simulator. Real-glasses figures are not yet known.
No. Eye Lab is part of GlintOS, an independent project not affiliated with or endorsed by Everysight. GlintOS is in development, with the free public APK planned for December 2026, and real-glasses validation is pending.
