A compass around you
N, E, S and W, each with the full direction name, stand 8 m away at eye height, above a faint ring with dots between them.
Compass labels, a floating panel and a spinning 3D model, fixed in the room while you turn your head. No account, API key or internet.
Spatial is the augmented-reality demo of GlintOS for Everysight Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. It places N, E, S and W labels around you at eye height, a faint ring below the horizon, a floating info panel and a spinning 3D model. All of it stays fixed in the room while you turn your head.
Selection works by looking. Point your head at a label, the panel or the model, and the readout names it, with no tap needed. A heading such as HDG 352 NW shows which way you face. Spatial works offline, with nothing to sign in to and no key to enter.

Whatever your head points at is named in the readout, such as NORTH, INFO PANEL or DICE. Labels, the panel and the cube are also highlighted.
A dice that spins and rocks, an Earth globe that turns once every 12 seconds, or a lit cube that changes colour while you look at it.
Recenter brings the panel and model back in front of you; the compass stays put. Model cycles the three and remembers your choice.
Day, Night and high contrast restyle the scene. Reduced motion stops the animations.
AR reopens when the glasses reconnect or you return to the app. If the compass needs calibrating, Spatial asks for a slow figure 8.
The scene itself, with one readout row at the bottom: heading on the left, what you look at on the right, then Recenter, Model and Back.
Shown while the scene opens. If no head orientation arrives within 6 seconds, No head tracking offers Retry.
After about 2 seconds without head orientation: hold your head still for a moment. Recenter and Retry are offered.
Settings opens Privacy on the glasses, where you turn AR back on for Spatial.
| Swipe forward | Moves the focus to the next action: Recenter, Model or Back. |

| Swipe back | Moves the focus to the previous action. |
| Tap | Presses the focused action. Back leaves Spatial and closes the AR scene. |
| Long tap | Goes back by default. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant instead. |
| Voice | Optional. Tell the GlintOS assistant recenter, dice, earth or cube. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
Spatial’s phone page shows your heading, such as Heading 352° NW, or the current state, and what you are looking at.
Dice, Earth and Cube chips pick the model, and Recenter works while AR is open on the glasses.
While Spatial is open, a line such as NW · Dice shows under its name in the Apps grid.
Spatial uses the glasses’ head orientation, not eye tracking.
GlintOS runs on the phone and talks to the glasses over Bluetooth.
There is nothing to sign in to.
Spatial uses no external service, so there is no key to enter.
The models ship with the app. Voice commands may need a connection, depending on your phone.
AR is a GlintOS switch you can turn off in Settings > Privacy. Voice commands ask for the phone’s microphone.
Paired with the phone in touch mode, with Ring control and the GlintOS ring control accessibility service on, it sends the same gestures as the temple touchpad.
No paid service, subscription or quota.
These rows are about Spatial. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
A GlintOS mini-app that shows world-locked AR on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses: compass labels, a panel and a 3D model that stay in place as you turn your head.
No. Spatial uses no external service and works offline. Only the optional voice commands may use your phone’s speech service.
It uses head orientation, not eye tracking, so it is meant for both. Neither model has been verified yet.
No. Spatial tracks how your head turns, not where you move. Recenter places the panel and model in front of you again.
