Lines split for you
Sentences and clauses become short, balanced lines, and each line break you type starts a new one.
Prompter shows your talk three short lines at a time on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses, and moves on at the pace you set.
Write or paste your talk on Prompter’s page in the GlintOS phone companion app. It is split into lines of up to 32 characters, and three show on the see-through display: the previous line dim, the current one bright, the next one in between. They advance by themselves at your chosen pace, so you can give a talk or a toast without looking down at notes.
Prompter needs no account, no API key, no internet and no device permissions, and the script stays on your phone. Only the optional voice commands use the microphone and your phone’s own speech recognizer, which may need a connection depending on the phone.

A readout such as LINE 4 / 12 · 120 WPM sits above a progress rail that fills as you go.
60 to 220 words per minute in steps of 10, default 120. Changing speed mid-talk keeps your place.
Nod for the next line, shake your head for the previous one. On AI Pro, a double blink plays or pauses while the eye tracker is already running.
Leaving Prompter, a disconnect or a restart leaves it paused on the same line, script and speed remembered.
A reminder to paste a script in the GlintOS phone companion app, with Back and Open phone, which only shows a short note on the phone.
Three lines, the readout and the progress rail, with Back, Play (Pause while playing, Restart on the last line), Slower and Faster.
| Swipe forward | Moves focus along Back, Play, Slower and Faster, wrapping at the end. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Moves focus the other way. Swipes never change the line. |
| Tap | Presses the focused button. Slower and Faster change the pace by 10 WPM. |
| Long tap | Leaves Prompter and pauses it, or starts the assistant if Long tap is set to Assistant. |
| Voice | Say pause, faster, slower or start over to the GlintOS assistant. Other phrases that are not system commands start playback. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
No widget of its own. The Home Summary widget, at a third, half or full width, can show Prompter’s status, such as Paused · line 4 / 12. Add it under Home widgets on Prompter’s page.
The only place to write the script: Title (home card) and Script fields, and Use a sample script while empty.
The line count and reading time at your pace, Play, Slower, Faster and Back to line 1.
The list of split lines, the current one in bold. Tap any line to jump there.
The script appears on the glasses display. You can write it without them.
GlintOS and Prompter run on the phone, which reaches the glasses over Bluetooth.
There is no sign-in.
Prompter contacts no service.
Prompter works offline. Optional voice commands may need a connection, depending on your phone’s speech recognizer.
Prompter asks for nothing. The GlintOS assistant asks for the microphone the first time it listens.
Only for voice commands; everything else works without one.
A ring paired with the phone in touch mode, with Ring control and the GlintOS ring control accessibility service on, sends the same gestures as the temple touchpad. Double blink needs the AI Pro eye tracker already running.
These rows are about Prompter. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
No. Prompter has no sign-in, contacts no service and needs no internet. You need GlintOS on an Android 11 or later phone and Maverick AI or AI Pro glasses.
You choose 60 to 220 words per minute, starting at 120. Each line stays up for its word count at that pace, so a four-word line lasts 2 seconds at 120 WPM.
No. It advances on a timer at your pace. If you drift, change the speed, nod or shake your head, or tap a line on the phone.
