GLINTOS MINI-APP · PRODUCTIVITY

Your notes, at eye level.
Kept on your phone.

Write plain-text notes on your phone or on the glasses, then read them page by page on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses.

What it is.

Each note is a title and a body of plain text. Write it on your phone, where every keystroke saves, or on the glasses with the GlintOS keyboard, driven by temple swipes and taps. On the glasses, the title sits above one page of text, and Next walks through the pages and on to the next note.

Notes needs no account, no API key and no internet. Your notes stay on your phone and leave it only when you tap Share. The one optional extra is voice input: the keyboard’s Mic key turns speech into text with your phone’s own speech recognizer.

What you get.

Pages that fit

Pages are measured with the glasses’ fonts and screen size, and re-flow for Larger text, so body text is never cut short.

Read on with one tap

Next keeps focus, so repeated taps move through every page and on to the next note.

Joystick keyboard

Offline English word endings, quick comma and period keys, symbols, an emoji picker and undo of the last 32 edits.

Dictate with the Mic key

Speak, review the transcript, then insert it at the cursor. No voice command can save or delete a note.

Longer notes on the phone

Every keystroke saves and appears on the glasses at once, with each note’s glasses page count.

Careful editing

Cancelling never changes saved text, deleting asks first, and phone editing is locked while you edit on the glasses.

What you need.

Glasses
Maverick AI or AI Pro

Needed to read and type notes on the display. Eye tracking is not used.

Phone
Android 11 or later

Notes runs inside GlintOS on the phone, which reaches the glasses over Bluetooth.

Account
Not needed

There is no sign-in and nothing to enter.

API key
Not needed

Notes contacts no third-party service.

Internet
Not needed

Reading, typing and storage work offline. Dictation may need it, depending on your phone’s speech provider.

Permissions
Microphone, only for voice input

Android asks the first time you tap Mic with the GlintOS phone companion app on screen. The Speech switch under Apps > Notes > Access, on by default, controls the Mic key.

Phone app
A speech recognizer, optional

Voice input uses the recognition service already on your phone, such as Google’s. Typing works without it.

These rows are about Notes. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.

Set it up.

  1. Install GlintOS on an Android 11 or later phone and connect your glasses. Notes comes with GlintOS.
  2. Write a note under Apps > Notes > Add note, or on the glasses: Add, title, Next, text, Save.
  3. For voice input, open the GlintOS phone companion app, tap Mic once and allow the microphone.
  4. Optionally add the Current note widget, or turn on Settings > Accessibility > Larger text.

Your data.

Good to know.

Questions.

Do I need an account or API key for Notes on Maverick AI glasses?

No. Notes has no sign-in and contacts no third-party service. Your notes stay on your phone and work offline.

How do I type a note on the glasses?

Swipe along a key row on the temple touchpad and tap to type. The default layout also uses up and down swipes, so far tried only in the simulator; Left / right only mode in Settings reaches every key with forward and back. An optional R08+ ring can send the same gestures.

Can I dictate notes instead of typing?

Yes. Tap Mic, speak, then Review and Insert, and save the note yourself. Dictation uses your phone’s microphone and speech recognizer and may need the internet.

Can I write notes without wearing the glasses?

Yes. The Notes page in the GlintOS phone companion app works with no glasses connected.

Is Notes an Everysight app?

No. Notes is part of GlintOS, an independent project not affiliated with or endorsed by Everysight.
