A grid at a glance
TIME, DISTANCE, PACE and STEPS in kilometres or miles, with the current lap and your cadence during a workout.
Workout shows time, GPS distance, pace and steps on your Maverick AI or AI Pro glasses while you run or walk. No account, API key or internet.
Workout turns your Everysight Maverick AI or AI Pro glasses into a display for runs and walks. A 2 × 2 grid shows elapsed time, distance from your phone’s GPS, current pace, and steps with cadence in steps per minute, without taking out the phone or looking at a watch. A status line under the grid says what feeds the numbers, such as GPS accuracy in metres.
Steps come from the glasses’ own motion sensor, so you need no separate pedometer. You pause, mark laps and finish from the temple touchpad or an optional R08+ ring. The only setup is precise location on the phone, needed for distance and pace. Without it, Workout still records time and steps.
TIME, DISTANCE, PACE and STEPS in kilometres or miles, with the current lap and your cadence during a workout.
Current pace over the last 30 seconds of movement. While paused, your average pace.
Inaccurate fixes, sudden jumps and small drifts are ignored, so standing still adds no distance.
The clock counts active time only. Each lap’s time shows in a chip for 10 seconds, and Finish asks before it saves.
Date, duration, distance, average pace, steps and lap times, on the glasses and on the phone.
The workout continues in other apps. If GlintOS closes, it is restored when GlintOS starts again.
The grid at zero and a status line such as GPS 5 M / STEPS READY, with Start, History and, until location is allowed, Allow GPS.
The grid updates every second, with Pause and Lap. Paused, a PAUSED chip appears and the actions are Resume, Finish and Discard.
The finished workout’s time, distance, pace, steps and laps. Done returns to the main screen.
Saved workouts, newest first, with date, duration, distance, pace and steps. Tap one for details and a Delete that asks first.
| Swipe forward | Moves to the next button, workout or page, or between the two choices of a confirmation. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Moves focus the other way. |
| Tap | Presses the selected button, such as Start, Pause, Lap or Finish, or opens a saved workout. |
| Long tap | Goes one level up, then Home; a running workout keeps recording. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant instead. |
| Voice | Optional, through the GlintOS assistant: say pause, resume, lap or finish while Workout is open. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
No widget of its own. The Home Summary widget shows the time and distance while you run, then your last workout. In other apps, the status rail shows a RUN chip.
A live timer with distance, steps, cadence and the status line.
Start, Pause, Lap, Resume and Finish, plus Allow location and the km or miles switch. Finish still asks on the glasses.
The history with lap times. Delete here removes a workout without asking.
They show the grid and count steps with their motion sensor; eye tracking is not used. While they are disconnected, steps pause but GPS distance keeps counting.
Workout runs on the phone; distance and pace come from its GPS, about once a second.
Asked when you tap Allow GPS on the glasses or Allow location on the phone; choose Precise, because approximate location counts no distance. The microphone is needed only for voice commands.
Keep it on under Settings > Background connection in the GlintOS phone companion app, so the glasses stay linked when you leave the app. Android battery settings can still limit it.
There is no sign-in, and Workout contacts no online service.
Nothing to enter. The only setting is units.
Workout reaches no web host.
Paired with the phone in touch mode, with Ring control and the GlintOS ring control accessibility service on, it sends the same gestures as the temple touchpad. Workout reads no health data from it.
No subscription or paid service.
These rows are about Workout. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
Yes, with GlintOS and Workout. Distance and pace come from your Android phone’s GPS, and steps from the glasses’ motion sensor.
No. Workout has no sign-in, nothing to enter and no internet access. You only allow precise location on the phone.
No. The glasses have no heart-rate sensor, and Workout reads none from other wearables.
The status line names the cause, such as GPS NEEDS PERMISSION. Allow precise location and turn on the phone’s location.
The live workout is saved every 15 seconds and restored the next time GlintOS starts. The gap counts as workout time, with no distance or steps.
