Live words, then meaning
Words appear as they are recognized. Only finished sentences are sent for translation.
Translate listens through your Android phone, shows what was said on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses, and puts the translation in large text underneath.
Translate is for talking with someone who speaks another language. Your phone’s speech recognizer listens, and their words appear on the glasses as they are spoken. Each finished sentence is translated and shown in large, bright type below the dimmer original, so you can keep your eyes on the person.
To reply, tap Swap. The direction reverses, the screen clears, and Translate listens in the other language. With Read translations aloud on, each translation is spoken on the phone speaker, so the other person hears your answer in their language. Listening pauses while it speaks.
There is nothing to sign up for. Translations come from MyMemory, a free service that needs no key and sets a daily limit. Choose from 13 languages, or type a sentence in the GlintOS phone companion app when speaking isn’t practical.
