Five built-in pictures
320 × 200 and about 2 to 7 KB each, already in the glasses’ format, so GlintOS sends them as they are.
Gallery shows pictures on the see-through display of your Maverick AI or AI Pro glasses. No account, no key, and the built-in pictures need no internet.
Gallery puts pictures on the display of Everysight Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. Five built-in pictures, Aurora, Orbit, Skyline, Tide and Bloom, are original artwork drawn for a display that only adds light: bright subjects on black, because black is see-through. They work offline. Four optional sample photos come from Lorem Picsum, a public demo service that needs no account or key.
Gallery is a fixed showcase, not a viewer for your own photos. Each picture shows its size, the memory it takes on the glasses, its format and its upload state. That makes Gallery a quick way to check a glasses connection, and to see how GlintOS handles loading, permission and error screens.
320 × 200 and about 2 to 7 KB each, already in the glasses’ format, so GlintOS sends them as they are.
Jellyfish, River valley, Pug and Walrus download over HTTPS. Show web or Hide web turns them on or off, and Gallery remembers your choice.
Size, bytes on the glasses, format, a credit line and the upload state: READY on the phone, UPLOADING or ON GLASSES.
Gallery prepares the next picture while you look at one. Prev and Next wrap around the whole set in both directions.
Built-in pictures stay in the glasses’ flash memory while Gallery runs. Web photos use only working memory and are freed once they leave the screen.
Loading, permission, disconnected and error screens say what is happening. Retry sends a picture again or downloads it again.
A paged list of titles, each with a LOCAL or WEB tag. A chip counts the pictures, and a button reads Show web or Hide web. Focus returns to the last picture you viewed.
The picture beside its details, a position chip such as 3 / 9, and Prev and Next buttons, plus Retry or Settings when something went wrong.
If Gallery’s Images or Internet access is off, it says so and offers a Settings button. Without Internet access, the built-in pictures keep working.
While the glasses are disconnected, the viewer says the picture appears when they reconnect. Picture unavailable gives the reason, such as no connection or full picture memory, with Retry.
| Swipe forward | Moves focus to the next row or button, and turns the page at the end of the list. |
|---|---|
| Swipe back | Moves focus the other way. Swipes never change the picture by themselves. |
| Tap | Opens a picture, or presses the focused button: Next, Prev, Show web, Retry or Settings. |
| Long tap | Goes back, from the viewer to the list and from the list to Home. If Long tap is set to Assistant, it starts the assistant instead. |
Gestures come from the temple touchpad on Maverick AI and AI Pro glasses. An optional R08+ smart ring can send the same gestures from your finger.
Gallery’s page in the GlintOS phone companion app has a Web pictures switch and a row for every picture, with its status and a Show button that selects it for the viewer on the glasses.
The same page holds Gallery’s Images and Internet access switches, Open on glasses and Clear data.
Pictures appear only while the glasses are connected. Eye tracking is not used, so either model works.
The phone prepares the pictures and sends them to the glasses over Bluetooth.
There is nothing to sign in to.
The sample photos come from public Lorem Picsum addresses that need no key.
Change it on Gallery’s phone page or in glasses Settings > Privacy. Gallery adds no Android permission of its own.
Gallery reaches only Lorem Picsum, over HTTPS. The built-in pictures work offline.
No subscription or paid service is involved, and the web photos are small downloads.
These rows are about Gallery. GlintOS itself also needs internet on the phone the first time it connects to your glasses and about once a month after that, when the glasses’ security certificate is renewed.
Not today. Gallery shows a fixed set of nine demo pictures, five built in and four from Lorem Picsum. It does not read your phone’s photo library.
No. Gallery needs no sign-in, key or paid service. Lorem Picsum is a public demo service with its own terms.
Yes, for the five built-in pictures. The four web photos need a connection; without one they show Picture unavailable with Retry.
The glasses’ display only adds light, so black is see-through. The built-in pictures were drawn for that, and dark parts of ordinary photos look faint.
